If you encounter any problems while using the aulumu G09 , please refer to the following user guide for solutions.
G09 detailed specifications
The aulumu G09 consists of two magnetic rings and one finger ring. The product package includes one G09 device , one replacement finger ring , one magnetic ring, and an instruction manual. The finger rings are detachable and come in two types: black and luminous. These two versions fit comfortably in your hand during use. The luminous version glows in the dark. The magnetic surfaces of both magnetic rings are fitted with a silicone anti-slip ring to prevent slipping.
The G09 is 2.41 inches in diameter , 0.25 inches thick , and weighs 35g . It's slightly larger than a 3cm mineral water bottle cap, roughly the thickness of an empty Oreo cookie, and lighter than an instant coffee carton. It's portable and fits easily into a regular pocket. The two magnetic rings use the strongest commercially available N54 double-layer magnets, generating a powerful magnetic force during use. When used with a metal cabinet, the top cover generates a magnetic force of 16.67N and can withstand a horizontal pull of 1.7kg . A 2L Coke bottle would need to be pulled horizontally to open; even a pet cat or dog would have difficulty opening it. The bottom cover can withstand a horizontal tensile force of 3kg ( 29.41N ), equivalent to lifting two 1.5L bottles of mineral water , and a vertical tensile force of 2.8kg ( 27.45N ), equivalent to lifting 3kg of rice with one hand . This makes it virtually impossible for the bracket to fall due to shaking. Furthermore, the magnetic force of the top and bottom covers has been designed through multiple experiments to ensure a balanced magnetic force on both sides, ensuring the bracket performs at its best during use.
The G09 hinge has an opening and closing force of 25 to 30 Newtons per centimeter , providing a gentle, push-open feel, while still maintaining a stable opening and closing angle. The hinge can rotate freely from 0 ° to 360 °, meeting the needs of a variety of applications. The hinge's lifespan is more than 20,000 opening and closing cycles, meaning it can be used for approximately five and a half years if opened and closed 10 times a day .
G09 Magnetizing Ring
In everyday use, it's not always possible to find a flat surface that can be attached magnetically, so aulumu has equipped the G09 with a magnetic ring, which helps you attach the stand to a flat surface even if the stand isn't magnetically attached.
For example, on flat metal surfaces where the magnetic attraction is weak, the holder may slip or come off. In these cases, a magnetic ring is required. Similarly, on non-metallic surfaces where the magnetic attraction is even weaker, a magnetic ring is also required. The magnetic ring helps to firmly secure the holder to the surface and prevents it from slipping or coming off.

G09 Q&A
Q1: When I remove the G09 stand from another metal surface, the phone comes off the stand.
A : When removing the stand from a ferrous surface, the stand may remain on the ferrous surface even after the device is removed. Both the top and bottom covers of the G09 use N54 double-layer magnets. The difference in magnetic force between the top and bottom covers is normal. After extensive experimentation, our designers adopted an optimal magnetic force distribution design. This is because different magnetic media and the magnets in the top cover generate different magnetic strengths. If the magnetic conductivity and magnetic release area of the Magsafe are both lower than those of the ferrous surface, the actual magnetic force between the Magsafe surface and the G09 's bottom cover will be lower than the actual magnetic force between the top cover and the contact surface. Therefore, the stand may remain on a ferrous surface when removing the stand. This is normal behavior and is not a quality issue. To prevent this from occurring, when removing the stand, hold the bottom cover and the device with one hand and be careful not to drop the device when removing the stand.
Q2: G09 is not stable enough when adsorbed onto other metal surfaces.
A : Commonly used tableware in daily life is primarily made of metals such as aluminum alloy, copper / brass, zinc alloy, 304/316 stainless steel, 201/430 stainless steel, ordinary steel (carbon steel), and iron. Among these metals, aluminum alloy, copper / brass, zinc alloy, and 304/316 stainless steel are non-magnetic, 201/430 stainless steel is weakly magnetic, ordinary steel (carbon steel) is moderately magnetic, and iron is the most magnetic. The metals used vary depending on the tableware, with some having a rough rather than smooth surface, and some not containing any metal at all. When attached to these weakly or completely non-magnetic surfaces, the support may become unstable and slip off. Taking this into consideration, aulumu specially designed a magnetic ring during the product design phase. The magnetic ring maintains stability and prevents slipping or falling off, even when the support is used on metal surfaces with low magnetic content, some non-metallic surfaces, or uneven surfaces.
Q3: The luminous ring on the G09 does not light up.
A: The G09 ring comes in two versions : a black ring and a luminous ring . When using the luminous ring, you need to place it under a light source to absorb and store light. The longer it absorbs light, the brighter the luminous ring will be. If it does not absorb and store light, the ring will be dim or will not glow at all. The light source can be sunlight or any other light source.
Q4: The G09 bracket is difficult to open.
A: The G09 uses a high-quality N54 double-layer magnet, which creates a very strong magnetic force between the top and bottom covers. This may make it difficult to open or close the cover at first. This is normal and is not a defect or manufacturing flaw. The cover will open and close more smoothly with use.
Q5: Does G09 support wireless charging ?
A: The G09 supports wireless charging, but for a smoother charging experience, we recommend removing the G09 before wireless charging. If you are using a stand for wireless charging, open the top cover of the G09 and place the bottom cover closer to the wireless charging surface before charging. This will ensure a smoother charging experience. (The effective charging distance is approximately 3.2mm , which is supported by most mainstream wireless charging devices on the market.)
However, there are some special circumstances to be aware of:
- If the surface of your wireless charger is less than 3.2 mm raised or flat, it may not be able to successfully connect to MagSafe and charge.
- If the radius of the MagSafe wireless charging sensing area is larger than the radius of the ring on the G09 stand, MagSafe connection will not be possible and charging will not be completed successfully.
Q6: When I use the G09 without a case , the magnetic attraction seems weak.
A: When using the G09 without a case, the magnetic attraction on the back of the device is weak, while the magnetic attraction on the top and bottom covers is strong, which can cause the G09 to come off completely when you open the case. Therefore, we recommend using the G09 with a MagSafe case rather than leaving it in a case. This will even out the magnetic attraction between the top and bottom covers, reducing the chance of the G09 coming off completely. When removing the G09 , you can increase the magnetic attraction between the bottom cover and the device by pushing down on the bottom cover with your hand.
